This conference provides a good opportunity to meet like-minded academics and practitioners working in the area of FinTech.

Due to ongoing travel restrictions, FinanceCom 2020 will follow a virtual format and will not be held in-person. The online conference will take place on the same date as planned for the physical conference in Helsinki, i.e., August 18th, 2020.

The papers will be published by Springer as part of the Lecture Notes in Business Information Processing (LNBIP) series, indexed in Scopus among others.

Conference Objective

Advancements in Information and Communication Technologies have paved the way to new business models, markets, networks, services and players in the financial services industry. FinanceCom 2020 invites papers that help to understand, drive and exploit the associated systems, technologies and opportunities in the financial services industry.

After very successful FinanceCom workshops in Manchester, Sydney (twice), Regensburg, Montreal, Paris, Frankfurt (twice) and Barcelona, FinanceCom 2020 will be organised in Helsinki (Finland) for the first time. The workshop spans multiple disciplines, including analytical, technical, service, economic, sociological and behavioral sciences. We welcome research from any of these disciplines, as well as cross-disciplinary work. We are open to various levels of analysis and methodology.
